The Modern Youth Attitude-
I talked about this quite a bit in my essay- the attitude of “sticking it to the man” and how that arises in the teenage years, using smoking cigarettes as an example since there is so much research that says it will most likely kill you, yet you still see so many young people doing it. The cool attitude means doing what you want, not letting others (“the man”) tell you what you can and cannot do. And that means doing what you want “Frankly! Daringly! Boldly!” without caring what others think (well, except for caring whether they think you’re cool or not for acting that way…).
